On March 30, 2017, Lenovo officially introduced the first two models of its new gaming series Legion – Y520 and Y720 – to the Bulgarian market. The launch took place at a special event held at S*Bar, organized entirely by Mate Bulgaria, Lenovo’s communication agency in the country.
The event brought together journalists, streamers, gaming influencers, and tech enthusiasts, who had the opportunity to experience firsthand the concept behind Legion – a line created for users who expect more power, higher performance, and a truly immersive gaming experience.
The two models were presented by two of the most popular gamers in Bulgaria – NoThx and StakimaN, who demonstrated the capabilities of the devices in real game scenarios.

The professional gamers faced off in a dynamic match of the latest DOOM, one of the most iconic games of all time, showcasing the power of the Legion devices in front of an audience of media representatives and well-known streamers.
During the gameplay, guests could observe real-time system performance, including temperature, CPU and GPU load, RAM usage, and other key metrics—highlighting the stability and strength of the machines under heavy load.
The atmosphere was interactive, energetic, and highly engaging, giving attendees not only the chance to watch the demonstrations but also to try the laptops themselves and test a virtual reality device powered by the new Legion platform.
Many guests described the event as well-organized, dynamic, and immersive, offering an excellent balance between presentation, hands-on testing, and live competition.
The Bulgarian premiere is part of the global rollout of Legion, which made its international debut at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. With this new line, Lenovo signals its bold ambition to establish a leading position in the gaming segment by offering devices built specifically for the needs and expectations of modern gamers.
